Traveling OB/GYN Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech

We're excited to announce an opening for an experienced OB/GYN Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist in Winchester, VA. You will perform obstetric and gynecological ultrasounds to assist physicians in clinical decision making, with emphasis on high-risk pregnancies and maternal fetal medicine imaging. You will ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures and document diagnostic data in the medical record.

Minimum Requirements:

• ARDMS certification in an OB/GYN or relevant specialty. Evidence of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) experience required. Please list MFM imaging studies and relevant work history on your resume.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA only).
• 1+ year of direct experience in obstetrical sonography, including transvaginal and transabdominal exams in high-risk OB patients.
• Associate degree in diagnostic medical sonography from an accredited program required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Demonstrated competence operating ultrasound equipment and familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems preferred.
• Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology relevant to ultrasound interpretation. Accountability and attention to detail in clinical documentation and billing support.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary maternal-fetal teams.
• Preferred: experience providing ultrasound guidance for procedures and familiarity with billing practices for diagnostic imaging.
