Backhoe / Equipment Operator Leadville, CO (Residential Construction)

We’re looking for an experienced backhoe / heavy equipment operator to support a new residential development in Leadville, Colorado.

This is a great opportunity for steady work with a growing builder on a multi-phase project.

Project Details
Location: Leadville, CO
Scope: Residential foundations + site work
Immediate need: ~5 homes this season
Long-term pipeline: 80+ homes over multiple phases

Responsibilities
Excavate residential foundations
Backfill, rough grading, and site prep
Assist with trenching for utilities
Work closely with superintendent and subs
Maintain safe and clean job site

Qualifications
2+ years operating backhoe or similar equipment
Experience with residential foundations preferred
Ability to read and work off staking (offsets, hubs, cut/fill)
Comfortable working in rocky / mountain conditions
Ability to read site plans and take direction
Reliable and shows up ready to work

Salary/Compensation: $40.00 per hour
