Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the dentist during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and help maintain an organized and efficient clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with New Jersey regulations
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Follow strict infection control and OSHA guidelines
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed

Qualifications:

• Dental Assistant certification preferred (NJ requirements followed)
• X-ray license required (or willingness to obtain)
• Prior dental assisting experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Dentrix dental software systems is a plus
