Brown & Brown is seeking Sales Development Representative to join our growing team in Tacoma, WA .
The primary role of the Sales Development Representative is to fuel revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business
opportunities for Producers and the sales team. This position executes high impact prospecting strategies that align with the Office's business
objectives, sales goals, and market focus. The SDR will establish consistent top of funnel activity through structured outreach, clean data management,
and coordinated campaign execution that enhances producer visibility and accelerates pipeline creation. The ultimate objective of this role is to
generate meaningful opportunities through disciplined prospecting, data driven insights, and collaborative sales support.
How You Will Contribute:
- Conduct high-volume outbound calling (100-120 calls per day) to engage decision-makers.
- Generate qualified meetings for Producers across Employee Benefits, Property & Casualty, and Workers' Compensation.
- Build and maintain targeted prospect lists to support focused outreach campaigns.
- Research, identify, and qualify new business opportunities using digital tools, data sources, and industry insights.
- Maintain 100% accurate CRM documentation, including all activities, follow-ups, notes, and meeting outcomes.
- Execute structured outreach sequences via phone, email, and LinkedIn to meet and exceed activity and meeting KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with Producers to align outreach messaging, share insights, and support joint prospecting strategies.
- Participate in coaching sessions, power hours, objection-handling training, and weekly performance reviews.
- Support industry-specific prospecting initiatives and coordinated outbound campaigns.
- Uphold Brown & Brown's service standards while representing the organization with professionalism and integrity.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Willingness to obtain applicable insurance licensing within the first 120 days.
Skills & Experience to be Successful:
- Experience in sales, customer service, or business development is preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, with strong preference for Microsoft Dynamics.
- Prior experience in outbound calling, lead generation, or inside sales is beneficial.

Pay Range
$60k - $90k AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
