Job Summary:

This position is responsible for processing incoming materials and managing the stockroom inventory. Stockroom Associates must allocate and distribute materials as needed per manufacturing job, as well as maintain minimum and maximum stock levels. Stockroom Associates work with Buyers to maintain stock levels and communicate when re-orders are needed. Stockroom Associates may also work with other departments, such as manufacturing, to communicate stock levels and may perform other tasks as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Check-in deliveries and confirm product quantity and condition
  • Receive orders in SyteLine and Factory Track
  • Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Allocate and distribute materials for manufacturing jobs
  • Communicate stock levels and re-orders to Buyers
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Experience and Education:

  • High School or GED
  • 1 - 3 months related experience and/or training

Position Requirements:

  • Knowledge of inventory management and order entry systems, such as SyteLine and Factory Track
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Intermediate computer skills; ability to use Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Communicates well with others; asks for and offers help when needed
  • Detail oriented; meets quality standards and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
  • Organized; completes work in a timely manner; able to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Problem-solver; gathers and analyzes information skillfully and generates suggestions for improving work
  • Capable of working independently and as a member of a team; contributes to building a positive team spirit
  • Observes and follows safety procedures
