Emergency Veterinarian

Our client is a hospital seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Emergency Veterinarian to join their multi-specialty and emergency team. This is the only facility of its kind in the state, offering a high standard of care across a wide range of services. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open 24 hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Thursday hours are from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Friday operates from 6:00 pm to midnight. The position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This emergency veterinarian role involves managing a variety of urgent and critical cases within a fast-paced specialty hospital setting. The role is focused on delivering high-quality, immediate care in collaboration with other board-certified specialists and emergency clinicians.

Practice Details
The hospital operates within a modern 8,500 sq ft facility equipped with digital radiology, a CT scanner, ultrasound, ventilator, intensive and oxygen units, in-house pharmacy, and advanced laboratory diagnostics. It offers services including emergency care, and is supported by specialists in surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, and critical care.

Team
The team includes three DVMs and a group of experienced veterinary professionals. The work environment is collaborative and supportive, with an emphasis on enjoying the workplace while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
