Field Supervisor - Spanish / English Bilingual

Job Function:

The Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily field operations, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards. This role includes supervising field crewsm coordinating with Project Managers and Superintendents, monitoring job progress, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality expectations. This position will play a critical role in driving productivity and maintaining FG Construction's commitment to excellenc.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily field operations and oversee on-site crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinate project activities, maintain organized project documentation, and assist with client communication and relationship management.
• Participate in and help facilitate subcontractor and coordination meetings, including tracking updates, action items, and change orders.
• Assist in scheduling project activities and meetings to keep timelines on track.
• Maintain awareness of project progress, priorities, and potential issues, escalating concerns as needed.
• Provide regular updates to management regarding field conditions, progress, and any risks to schedule, budget, or scope.
• Support project closeout by ensuring completion of punch list items and final documentation.
• Perform site walkthroughs prior to city or municipal inspections and address minor corrective items.
• Assist with safety inspections and help enforce company safety policies and procedures.
• Complete and maintain accurate field reports throughout all phases of construction.

Requirements:

• One (1) year of construction-related experience and a High School Diploma (or equivalent) or degree in a construction-related field preferred.
• Knowledge of the construction process and understanding of the specifications and field labor.
• Knowledge of the project management process and principles of scheduling and estimating.
• Strong skills in time management, communication, and the ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with all parties involved in the construction project, while handling difficult issues
• Bilingual Spanish/Engilsh
• Willingness to travel to multiple job sites as needed.
