Salary: $2,097.65 - $2,297.65 /wk

Become a vital part of a Montgomery, AL hospital team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment for inpatient and outpatient patients, including occasional pediatric and ED cases.

Minimum Requirements:

  • ARRT-CT required.
  • Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience with required skills.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Experience with angiogram procedures and CT-guided biopsy/drainage required.
  • Stroke perfusion experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience using Cerner EMR preferred.
  • Experience working in a hospital radiology department preferred, including floating throughout the hospital.
  • Ability to perform 1:1 patient care and manage an average throughput of approximately 4 patients per hour (about 40 patients per day).

Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Shift: Nights.
  • Shift hours: 2100-0900.
  • Typical schedule: 3x12 night shifts.
  • Patient types: Inpatient and outpatient; adult and occasional pediatrics (ED/outpatients).
  • On-call: Voluntary.
  • Holiday expectation: One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy; scheduling varies per hospital policy.
  • Weekend rotation: Varies; typically about once per month.
  • Orientation: 1 eight-hour hospital orientation plus 2-3 shifts on unit (day shift with another tech).
  • Floating: Yes, floats throughout the hospital within radiology department areas.
  • EMR: Cerner.
  • Technology: GE CT systems.
