Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their practice. This clinic provides care for dogs, cats, and exotics, with a strong emphasis on Fear Free medicine and creating a calm, low-stress environment for patients and clients. The hospital operates with a veterinarian-led approach and focuses on delivering high-quality, personalized care while supporting a balanced and sustainable career for its team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm, and Sunday from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Full-time hours range from 24 to 32 hours per week, with weekday shifts typically running 9:00am to 5:00pm and shorter weekend shifts. Scheduling is flexible and designed to support work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver compassionate medical, surgical, and dental care across a varied caseload, including preventive wellness, diagnostics, and urgent care. The role involves diagnosing and treating patients, performing procedures, and building strong client relationships through clear and empathetic communication. Doctors see approximately 10-15 appointments per day for a calmer working pace and to improve the quality of time provided to patients and clients. Veterinarians work collaboratively with the team while also contributing to mentorship, team development, and hospital growth. The position offers strong mentorship and is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, supporting the development of clinical confidence and skills across all areas of practice. Fear Free certification is not a prerequisite, but the willingness to become certified is required.

Practice Details
The hospital is a modern, state-of-the-art DeNovo facility built around Fear Free principles, with features such as separate species-specific exam rooms, frosted glass, no waiting rooms and a focus on reducing stress for patients. Equipment and services include advanced diagnostics, digital X-rays, laser therapy, stem cell therapy, immunotherapy, plasma therapy, surgery, dental care, and underwater treadmill rehabilitation. The practice provides preventive care, urgent care, advanced and specialty services, and comprehensive surgical and dental procedures. Team
The team consists of four DVMs supported by a collaborative and mentorship-focused staff. Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
