Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their small animal practice. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm, and Sunday from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Full-time roles consist of approximately 24 to 32 hours per week, with weekday shifts typically 9:00am to 5:00pm and shorter weekend shifts. Scheduling is flexible and designed to support strong work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide Fear Free medical, surgical, and dental care to small animal patients, covering preventive wellness, diagnostics, urgent care, and surgery. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating cases, performing procedures, and communicating clearly with clients to build trust and deliver individualized care. The role also involves mentoring and collaborating with the wider team while contributing to a positive hospital culture and community engagement. An apprenticeship-style mentorship model supports development across all areas of practice, and the position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

This is a state-of-the-art, de novo hospital designed with Fear Free principles at its core, including features such as cat-specific consult rooms and a layout focused on reducing stress for patients and clients. The hospital provides preventive and wellness care, urgent care, advanced diagnostics, surgery, and dental services. Advanced capabilities include comprehensive diagnostic testing, digital X-rays, laser therapy, stem cell therapy, immunotherapy, and plasma therapy. The practice operates with a tailored, non-cookie-cutter approach and emphasizes autonomy, innovation, and continuous development. Doctors typically see 10-15 appointments per day, allowing time for thorough, high-quality care. Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
