Working Hours / Rota
The position offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The practice operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care for companion animals. Responsibilities include conducting wellness examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, performing surgical and dental procedures, and developing preventive care plans tailored to each patient's lifestyle and health needs. The role also involves building strong client relationships through education and communication while collaborating with technicians and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The practice focuses on preventive and wellness-based veterinary medicine while maintaining the capability to treat illness and injury. Services include Wellness Exams, Vaccinations, Dental Care, Surgery, In-House Diagnostics, Parasite Prevention, Microchipping, Senior Pet Care, and Nutritional Counseling. The hospital emphasizes client education, individualized patient care, and a supportive team culture that prioritizes both professional growth and work-life balance.
Team
The practice is supported by 3 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative environment where teamwork and mentorship are highly valued.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
