Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their small animal practice providing care for companion animals. The hospital offers comprehensive veterinary medicine within a collaborative and family-oriented environment where high-quality patient care and strong client relationships are central to the practice. This opportunity allows veterinarians to work in a supportive team while delivering advanced medical, surgical, and dental services to the local community.

Working Hours / Rota
The position offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, with the hospital closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care including wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, and other soft tissue surgeries, and providing dental care.

Practice Details
The hospital operates from a newly renovated facility designed to support modern veterinary medicine. Equipment includes digital radiography, ultrasound (Vivid IQ), Idexx in-house laboratories for CBC, chemistry, urinalysis and Imagyst cytology, CardioPet EKG, Companion Laser therapy, and advanced dental radiography and extraction units. Services offered include Pet Acupuncture, Advanced Pain Management, Alternative Therapies, Behavior Consults, Emergency Care, Geriatric Care, Routine and Advanced Dental Care, Dermatology Consults, Nutritional Counseling, Orthopedic and Soft Tissue Surgery, Pediatric Care, Parasite Management, Digital Radiology, Progressive Veterinary Medicine, Spay and Neuter Surgery, Ultrasonography (abdominal and cardiac), In-House Diagnostic Laboratory Services, Therapeutic Laser Treatments, and Complete Wellness and Diagnostic Examinations.

The hospital is supported by 3 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative environment where teamwork, mentorship, and high standards of veterinary care are highly valued.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
