General Laborer / Material Handler

Job Title: General Laborer/Material Handler (hiring 40+ people)

Job Location: Knoxville, TN 37924

Employment Type: Temporary

Work Schedule: Starts Monday April 27th- Monday-Friday, 7a-4p 

General Labor/Material Handler Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of general labor/material handling experience preferred but not required
• MUST be able to pass a drug test
• MUST be able to consistently lift and move packages on and off of conveyors in an Amazon facility ranging from 1-35lbs

General Labor/Material Handler Duties:

• Lift and move packages on and off of conveyors in an Amazon facility testing
• Load and off load packages until the individual conveyor passes diagnostics 3 times- move on to the next one
• Perform job site clean-up
• Assist with other duties as needed

General Labor/Material Handler Compensation:

• $22/hr
• M-F, no night no weekends
• Weekly direct deposit

**This initial Amazon project is a short to see who can be reliable and show up on time and work all the scheduled hours. Those who prove to be reliable will be moved over to a longer-term hotel remodel in the area starting mid-May.
