As a Forklift Operator, you will perform a variety of tasks within our warehouse including loading trucks, unloading trucks, and staging finished product.

  • Operate forklift and perform all job duties in a productive manner, demonstrating initiative and involvement and maintaining adequate levels of productivity, utilization, and efficiency.
  • Load proper quantities of quality, damage free product, in a safe manner and distributes the weight of the product in a proper manner. Unload product as directed while visually inspecting and identifying any damaged and defective goods.
  • Use the proper paperwork and scanning equipment to complete tasks.
  • Perform daily maintenance check of forklift operation using appropriate systems and reports repair needs.
  • Keep operating areas clean and in orderly condition according to food safety standards.
  • Adjust weights on over-weight trailers as needed.
  • Must be willing to work weekends, overtimes and back shifts as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6+ months of forklift experience in a production, manufacturing, military or related environment
  • Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $20.67. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
