Scope of Position
The Advanced Cardiac Imaging Department is located in the Cardiovascular Imaging Lab and encompasses 1 imaging room located on the 1st floor of the Ross Heart Hospital. The department also includes 2 imaging rooms located in the concourse at Martha Morehouse Medical Plaza. This lab performs MRI procedures. This role may also assist and/or be cross trained in CT imaging as well. The lab currently operates Monday through Friday 7:00am 5:30pm, weekends and holidays as needed.
Position Summary
The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Certification and Ohio Department of Health Radiology License. Advanced Certification in Magnetic Resonance preferred. 0 years of relevant experience required. Previous experience preferred.
