Salary: $67,700.00 - $98,300.00 /yr

An exciting permanent opportunity has opened for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) with an area hospital in John Day, OR where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • National certification in specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • BLS certification.
  • Comfort working in a rural, frontier hospital setting and willingness to live in a small town environment.
  • Experience with multiple ultrasound modalities preferred. Modalities of interest include general ultrasound, vascular, and cardiac/echo.
  • Ability to participate with radiologists and physicians by contributing technical and professional knowledge, follow exam protocols, review pathology/surgical/delivery reports as appropriate, and exercise sound judgment.
