Introduction
Our client is a mixed animal practice hiring an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established and community-focused team. The hospital delivers high-quality general practice care with a growing mixed animal caseload and is seeking a veterinarian who is passionate about providing comprehensive, compassionate medicine in a collaborative environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This position is available on a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital offers weekday coverage with additional availability on Saturdays, supporting patients beyond the traditional Monday-to-Friday schedule.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for managing a busy and well-paced general practice caseload that includes wellness and preventive care, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, urgent care, and internal medicine. The role is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is confident working within a mixed animal setting and values teamwork, medical autonomy, and strong client relationships. Daily responsibilities include patient examinations, diagnostics, treatment planning, performing surgical procedures, and delivering clear, compassionate client communication.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped to support a diverse caseload with digital radiography, in-house laboratory diagnostics, a barn setup with a padded room, and a spacious surgical suite. Modern surgical and monitoring equipment allows for efficient, high-quality patient care. The practice culture is collaborative, mentorship-driven, and client-focused, with an emphasis on respect, teamwork, and long-term relationships within the community. Services offered include wellness care and exams, vaccinations, dental care, diagnostics and imaging, spay and neuter procedures, parasite prevention, deworming, allergy and dermatology care, pet surgery, and advanced surgical services.

Team
The team consists of four DVMs supported by a strong, tenured group of technicians and client service representatives. The working environment is supportive and team-oriented, ensuring veterinarians are never working alone and have consistent clinical and operational support.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
