Position Overview

We are actively seeking a seasoned Superintendent, with proven retail tenant improvement experience, who thrives in fast-paced, high expectations settings. This role requires the ability to drive schedules, coordinate trades, and deliver high-quality projects on time, every time.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities for retail tenant finish and small ground up projects
• Read and execute plans to owner specifications
• Develop and manage schedules, including three-week lookaheads
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and landlord requirements
• Communicate daily with the Project Manager on progress and challenges
• Proactively solve issues to maintain schedule and quality
• Maintain accurate documentation in Procore (daily logs, photos, schedules, RFIs, etc.)
• Enforce jobsite safety and lead weekly safety meetings
• Participate in client/owner and contractor weekly meetings
• Assist Project Manager with change orders and close out documentation

Position Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in retail and/or restaurant tenant improvement projects
• Strong understanding of retail finishes, sequencing, and turnover requirements
• Ability to manage multiple trades in active, deadline-driven environments
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• OSHA required
• Microsoft Office required
• Procore Construction Software is a plus

Work Requirements

• Travel required (projects typically 10–16 weeks)
• On-site daily (Monday–Friday), weekends as needed.
• Must be present whenever subcontractors are working
• Valid driver’s license required
• Insurance Required (General Liability/$1M)
