Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA) / Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children with autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Train and oversee RBTs, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with families, service providers, and funding agencies.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with schools, medical professionals, and other service providers to integrate intervention strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and submit reports within required timelines.
- Ensure compliance with all accreditation standards, HIPAA regulations, and state/federal laws.
- Attend required meetings and communicate updates to leadership.
- Guide BCaBAs in fulfilling their responsibilities for client support.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certification: Current Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA) license .
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer systems for documentation and reporting.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Physical Requirements: Must be in good physical condition to meet job demands.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Experience
- A minimum of two years of experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Proven experience in applied behavior analysis, including data collection and patient assessment.
- Familiarity with special education practices and working with people with autism is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards.
