Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary practice seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join their team. The clinic provides care for dogs, cats, and occasional pocket pets and is looking for a collaborative and ambitious DVM to support a growing caseload.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with no after-hours requirements specified.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will handle routine vaccine appointments, medical exams, diagnostics, and a wide range of surgical procedures. Clinical responsibilities include soft tissue surgery, orthopedics, GI surgery, cystotomies, and dental procedures, supported by technicians who assist with anesthesia monitoring, lab analysis, technician appointments, and client communication. The role is open to experienced veterinarians only.

Practice Details
The practice is equipped with in-clinic blood analyzers, surgical and therapy lasers, digital X-rays, digital dental X-rays, and tonometry capabilities. Facilities support advanced surgical services with blood pressure monitoring, electrocardiogram and oxygen saturation monitoring, capnography, intravenous fluid therapy, and intensive post-operative care. Services offered include wellness exams, dentistry, senior pet care, diagnostics, surgery, and laser therapy. The caseload is steady, with a strong surgical component and long-term client relationships.

Team
The team includes 2 DVMs and multiple technicians and assistants who provide strong technical support. The environment is collaborative, with a solid doctor-to-tech ratio that ensures veterinarians are consistently supported in delivering high-quality care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
