Introduction
Our client is a practice hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their small animal team in Laguna Beach. This community-focused clinic provides primary care and preventative services for Dogs and Cats and is seeking an experienced veterinarian to deliver compassionate, high-quality medicine within a collaborative environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. The position is available on a Full-Time or Part-Time basis, offering flexibility to suit individual scheduling preferences.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive primary care services including pet wellness and sick exams, vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, parasite treatment, and spay and neuter procedures. Clinical responsibilities also include blood, urine, and fecal testing, soft tissue surgery, mass removals, general surgery, dental cleanings and extractions, and diagnostic services including laboratory testing and imaging. The role is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is committed to maintaining high standards of medical excellence while fostering strong relationships with clients and supporting the local community, including work with a local shelter.

This small animal practice serves Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, South Laguna, Crystal Cove, Laguna Hills, and Dana Point. The clinic focuses on personalized veterinary preventive care and offers a wide range of services including primary care, vaccinations, dental care, soft tissue surgery, spay and neuter, diagnostics, acupuncture, boarding, and mass removals. The facility emphasizes compassionate care and high standards of medicine, supported by operational resources, innovative technology, and access to advanced training that allow veterinarians to focus on patient care and professional growth.

Team

Candidate Requirements

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
