Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary clinic seeking a Mixed Animal Associate Veterinarian to join their friendly and community-focused team. The practice provides care for small animals, large animals, equine, and exotics, offering variety and professional development opportunities. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates who are eager to build their skills in a supportive setting.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, on Wednesday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and on Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The hospital is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position, with a schedule that includes both in-clinic care and farm visits.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role offers a diverse caseload across species and includes clinical responsibilities such as surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, wellness and vaccinations, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, spay and neuter, end-of-life care, and emergency services. Veterinarians with experience or interest in equine care, surgery, and general practice will find strong opportunities to develop further, and new graduates are also encouraged to apply with mentorship provided.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, diagnostic lab machines, large and small animal ultrasound, VetScan Imagyst, gas anesthesia, ProVet cloud-based software with flexibility to chart from home, and a heated back area for large animal treatments. Services provided include wellness and preventive care, dentistry, diagnostics, surgery, large animal care, emergency services, senior pet care, and end-of-life support. The practice culture is rooted in strong client relationships, accessible and flexible treatment options, and a collaborative, growth-focused approach.

Team
The clinic has three DVMs supported by a close-knit team. The environment is welcoming, mentorship-driven, and offers collaboration across two hospital locations, ensuring a varied caseload and strong professional support.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
