Introduction
Our client is a well-established, AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated three-doctor team. This Fear Free and Low-Stress Handling Certified practice provides exceptional medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats within a supportive and collaborative environment. The 10,000 sq. ft. facility is designed to promote excellent patient outcomes, with a strong emphasis on mentorship and a 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio, allowing veterinarians to deliver high-quality, thorough care.

Working Hours / Rota
This full-time role offers a four-day workweek, typically Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and occasional Saturdays. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. There are no after-hours or on-call duties, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive wellness and preventative care, performing surgical and dental procedures with advanced imaging, and managing complex medical cases. Care is delivered with Fear Free and feline-friendly handling techniques. The role is suitable for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with structured mentorship available to support clinical and professional growth. Plans are in place to expand urgent care services in the coming years, offering additional opportunities for skill development.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including digital radiography, ultrasound, ECG, and a dedicated dental suite with digital dental radiographs. Surgical facilities feature laser surgery and endoscopy, while additional services such as cold and therapeutic laser therapy further enhance patient care. The practice also offers grooming and boarding services, providing clients with comprehensive, convenient veterinary support.

Team
The team consists of three DVMs supported by a skilled group of credentialed veterinary technicians and assistants, operating with a 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio. The workplace culture is collaborative, mentorship-driven, and focused on delivering exceptional care while fostering professional development.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
