Introduction
Our client is a full-service, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital seeking an Experienced Veterinarian with leadership interest. The practice treats dogs and cats and focuses on providing Fear Free and Cat Friendly care in a stress-free environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The hospital is closed on Sundays. The role supports work-life balance and offers flexibility within these hours.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The veterinarian will provide high-quality medical care to dogs and cats, supported by a dedicated assistant for client communication, medical histories, exams, and treatment plans. Clinical responsibilities include diagnostics, preventive care, surgery, dentistry, and advanced therapies such as PRP, Vetrostim, therapeutic laser, and stem cell therapy. The role is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, particularly those interested in professional growth, and emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
Practice Details
The hospital is housed in a modern, three-story facility built in 2018 and is equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, PRP, Vetrostim, and stem cell therapy. Electronic medical records are managed via eVet. The practice follows AAHA standards and Fear Free and Cat Friendly protocols. Its culture prioritizes collaboration, professional development, work-life balance, and low staff turnover.
Team
The team includes two DVMs and a strong support staff, including dedicated doctor's assistants who handle clinical and administrative duties. The environment is collaborative and efficient, allowing veterinarians to focus on medicine while feeling supported and valued.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
