Urgent Care Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is an urgent care animal hospital and is hiring for a Full-Time Veterinarian. The hospital provides same-day and next-day urgent care services for companion animals, focusing on efficient, high-quality care for common acute medical concerns.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open seven days a week from 10:00am to 8:00pm. The position is full-time, working four 10-hour shifts per week. Some weekend coverage is required. There are no on-call or after-hours responsibilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will focus on diagnosing pets, developing treatment plans, and communicating clearly with clients while being supported by dedicated team members assisting with medical records. Clinical responsibilities include urgent care case management for conditions such as allergic reactions, gastrointestinal issues, ear and eye conditions, dermatologic concerns, wounds and lacerations, lethargy, inappetence, pain or limping, respiratory disease, toxin ingestion, and urinary issues. The role emphasizes collaboration, efficiency, and high medical standards. Experience level requirements are not specified.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
