Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their full-service veterinary practice. Established in 1956, the hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care and is known for delivering high-quality medical, surgical, dental, and boarding services for companion animals. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values building long-term relationships with clients while delivering exceptional patient care.

Working Hours / Rota
The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. Hospital hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Walk-in patients are accepted from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver high-quality medical care while managing a varied caseload in a busy general practice setting. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventative care, diagnosing and treating sick patients, performing soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dentistry procedures, and emergency surgical cases when required. The role also includes performing diagnostic evaluations, collaborating with support staff to provide comprehensive treatment plans, and maintaining strong client communication. This position is open to experienced veterinarians who are motivated to practice excellent medicine in a collaborative environment.

Practice Details
The hospital operates as a general practice with an average daily patient volume of 20-25 patients and a 3:1 support staff ratio. The 9,000 sq. ft. facility, opened in May 2019, includes specialized rooms for cats, large dogs, ICU, and surgery recovery. The hospital is equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratories, and dental equipment to support diagnostics and treatment. Services include wellness and prevention, spay and neuter procedures, orthopedic surgery, emergency surgery, dental care, radiology, microchipping, vaccinations, treatment for sick pets, and boarding services. The hospital culture is collaborative and teaching-focused, supported by a strong technician team that allows veterinarians to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

The hospital has 4 DVMs and a great tenured support team, including a large technician team that supports a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
