Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day operations across finishing and production functions within digital print workflows.
• Execute production plans in alignment with established schedules and operational priorities.
• Participate in daily production meetings to review workload, align priorities, and coordinate cross-functional activities.
• Ensure seamless workflow from high-speed digital presses through finishing and mail preparation processes.
• Identify process inefficiencies, resolve bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput and reduce downtime.
• Oversee finishing operations including cutting, folding, inserting, and mail preparation activities.
• Manage multiple finishing lines and equipment to ensure optimal utilization and output.
• Ensure accurate job setup, efficient changeovers, and effective coordination between print and finishing teams.
• Supervise supervisors, production leads, and operational staff to ensure performance expectations are met.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance evaluations and ensure adherence to organizational policies and standards.
• Maintain strict quality control by ensuring all work meets client specifications and internal standards.
• Collaborate with quality and workflow teams to ensure production accuracy and consistency.
• Review completed jobs to verify proper finishing and readiness for distribution.
• Oversee equipment performance by ensuring machinery is maintained according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators including throughput, on-time delivery, labor efficiency, and waste reduction.
• Partner with leadership to enhance operational performance and support overall business growth.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in digital print, direct mail, or commercial print manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience managing finishing operations, including cutting, folding, inserting, and mail preparation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop production teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with high-speed inkjet and sheetfed digital press workflows preferred.
• Familiarity with advanced finishing equipment and direct mail production processes is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Solid understanding of production workflow management and operational planning.
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience coordinating schedules and optimizing production efficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools.
• Ability to consistently deliver high-quality output while meeting production deadlines.
• Proven track record of improving operational efficiency, equipment utilization, and team performance.
