Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a progressive, AAHA-accredited small animal practice serving dogs and cats. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and operates within a beautiful, modern facility focused on preventive care and long-term client relationships. This role offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment within a vibrant community surrounded by natural beauty.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. The position may be full-time or part-time.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will ensure consistent, high-quality patient care while maintaining medical standards and supporting a positive hospital environment. Responsibilities include practicing medicine in compliance with state and federal regulations, performing anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and general medical procedures, maintaining thorough and accurate medical records, providing effective client communication, and participating in community events and hospital projects. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with leadership to support hospital objectives, providing medical training to support staff, and contributing to team development. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and features advanced equipment including ultrasound, digital radiography, digital dental X-rays, in-house laboratory equipment, and a full surgery suite. It offers a preventive-based approach supported by wellness plans for puppies, kittens, and adult pets, including unlimited exams, core vaccinations, and service discounts. Services include wellness exams, emergency care, soft tissue surgery, dental procedures, and in-house pathology. The practice prioritizes collaboration through monthly meetings, shared decision-making, and ongoing assistant education.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
