Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital in Lynn Haven, Florida, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their long-established small animal practice. For nearly 50 years, this clinic has been a trusted part of the community and now operates from a new, state-of-the-art facility designed for efficient, modern veterinary care. The practice offers an excellent quality of life with no weekends, no on-call, and no emergency duties.

Working Hours / Rota
This role can be full or part time. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
Clinical responsibilities include pet C-sections, cystotomies, dentistry, digital x-rays, growth removals, issuing health certificates, using an in-house lab, ocular tonometry, routine spay and neuter procedures, wellness services, orthopedic surgery, and ultrasound. The role offers a varied surgical caseload including cystotomies, FHOs, amputations, enucleations, and C-sections. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

The hospital is committed to high-quality medicine supported by a culture of respect, teamwork, and compassion. Equipment includes digital radiography, a full in-house laboratory, modern dental and anesthesia units, and a client communication app with texting capabilities. Facilities support a wide range of services including surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, wellness care, orthopedic procedures, ultrasound, and tonometry. The practice has been serving the community since 1975 and is led by a doctor who prioritizes team well-being and compassionate care.

Team
The practice includes three DVMs and a great tenured support team comprising skilled technicians, dedicated CSRs, and a collaborative group of doctors.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
