Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that provides care for cats and dogs and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work within a general practice setting, supporting a full range of clinical needs for companion animals.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm. Full-time or part-time scheduling can be accommodated, and doctor hours are open to discussion based on the candidate's preference and availability.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves the full scope of general practice responsibilities. The hospital welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering a role that encompasses routine medical care, diagnostics, treatment planning, and surgical responsibilities as part of a typical GP caseload.

Practice Details
The hospital offers diagnostics, surgery including laser surgery, an in-house laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, ortho and rehabilitation services, and more, all within a friendly and down-to-earth atmosphere. You will have access to modern equipment and a full suite of services, with opportunities to develop your interests whether in general practice, surgery, dentistry, or rehabilitation.

Team
The hospital currently has one DVM supported by a brilliant team of support staff, creating a collaborative and well-rounded working environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
