Emergency Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a 24/7 emergency hospital seeking an Overnight Emergency Veterinarian to deliver high-quality care during the most critical hours. This hospital provides urgent and emergency veterinary care seven days a week, including weekends and holidays. The position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates.

Working Hours / Rota
Scheduled shifts will include overnight coverage from Friday through Sunday. The hospital operates 24/7, offering emergency care every evening, weekend, and holiday.

Role Description and Responsibilities
Clinical responsibilities include delivering urgent and emergency medical care, performing diagnostics, triage, and life-saving treatments and surgery, managing overnight hospitalized patients, collaborating with experienced technicians and support staff, and ensuring clients feel informed and supported during stressful moments.

Practice Details
The hospital provides emergency veterinary care for sudden illness, accidents, and trauma. It offers diagnostic services through an in-house laboratory capable of digital radiography, ECG/EKG and vital signs monitoring, bloodwork, fecal exams, ultrasound, urinalysis, and cortisol testing.

The hospital has 4 DVMs, supported by experienced technicians and support staff.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
