Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing high-quality care for small animals, currently hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join their skilled and supportive team in Chiefland, Florida. The clinic offers a diverse medical and surgical caseload and serves the North Florida and greater Gainesville area.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on weekends. The position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates, with no weekend or after-hours responsibilities required.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for all duties expected of a general practice veterinarian, including routine wellness, internal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. The hospital also offers a range of orthopedic surgical services. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering an environment that supports professional development.

Practice Details
The hospital is a 4,600-square-foot facility featuring five exam rooms, a double surgery suite, a large treatment area, and a radiology suite. The hospital includes an in-house laboratory and pharmacy and separate wards for feline, canine, and intensive care patients. The clinic is well-equipped to support a broad range of general and advanced medical services, including orthopedic procedures.

Team
The hospital currently has five doctors supported by an experienced and well-tenured support staff. The team operates in a collaborative, mentorship-focused environment, encouraging the growth and development of all its members.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
