Medical Director Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that sees cats and dogs and is hiring for a Medical Director.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday - Friday (no weekends or after hours) from 8AM to 5PM. This is a full-time position with a 4-day workweek.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This is a full-service GP role covering surgery, wellness, dentistry, internal medicine, and more. The Medical Director will dedicate over 90% of their time to practicing medicine, allowing them to stay fully engaged in patient care while leading the team. This position is for an experienced DVM and is open to someone without prior leadership experience.

Practice Details
The hospital operates in a modern, well-equipped 10,000 sq/ft facility, providing full-service GP care in addition to some urgent care.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs and a tenured team of support staff.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
