Role Description and Responsibilities
The Lead Veterinarian will perform physical examinations, diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental procedures while ensuring high standards of patient care and client experience. Responsibilities include developing complete problem lists and treatment plans, communicating diagnoses clearly to clients, performing basic surgery, and educating pet parents on preventative healthcare and nutrition. The role involves maintaining accurate medical records, participating in continuing education, and ensuring compliance with operating and safety procedures. As a clinical leader, the Lead Veterinarian will empower and develop the paraprofessional team, support technicians and assistants with escalations, foster collaboration, and represent the hospital professionally within the community.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
