Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
An Associate Veterinarian is needed to join a full-service small animal hospital in Chelan, Washington. This is a one-doctor practice offering both general and urgent care medicine. The position is open to experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and collaboration available in a supportive environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, with no weekend hours. Same-day appointments and urgent care are available during open hours.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. Responsibilities include wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, urgent care, and client education. Building strong relationships with patients and their families is a central part of the role.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, advanced in-house laboratory capabilities, digital cytology, a full surgical suite, and dental equipment. Cloud-based software supports efficient recordkeeping and flexibility.

Team
The incoming doctor will work closely alongside the current veterinarian and a dedicated support staff. The culture emphasizes collaboration, adaptability, and continuous learning, creating a welcoming and rewarding work environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
