Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal practice providing comprehensive veterinary care and is currently hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian. The clinic delivers high-quality wellness, medical, surgical, and dental services to the local community in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with a consistent daytime schedule. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, with the clinic closed on Sundays. No after-hours or overnight duties are required.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality general practice care, including physical examinations, preventive medicine, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and laser therapy. Daily duties include examining and treating companion animals, operating diagnostic equipment, collecting and interpreting diagnostic samples, prescribing medications, maintaining accurate medical records, advising clients on preventive care and treatment options, and providing guidance around end-of-life care. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The practice is a full-service companion animal hospital offering wellness care, comprehensive medical treatment, surgical and dental services, as well as behavioral and dietary consultation. Facilities and equipment support a broad range of services including laboratory diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, vaccinations, parasite prevention, and laser therapy. The clinic culture is described as positive, professional, and team-oriented, with an emphasis on compassionate, personalized care and the freedom for veterinarians to focus on excellent medicine.

Team
The team currently consists of two DVMs supported by a dedicated and experienced support staff. The working environment is collaborative and supportive, encouraging teamwork and open communication.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
