Our Onco360 Pharmacy in Houston, TX has a need for a Full Time Pharmacist Supervisor!
Onco360 Pharmacy is a unique oncology pharmacy model created to serve the needs of community, oncology and hematology physicians, patients, payers, and manufacturers.
Onsite: Monday - Friday from 9:30am - 6:00pm CST
Salary starting at $140,000.00 annually and up, depending on experience

Pharmacist Major Responsibilities:
- The Pharmacist Supervisor works closely with the Pharmacy Director to review staff performance metrics and conducts coaching / counseling as needed.
- The Pharmacist Supervisor promotes dispensing accuracy and operational efficiency across the team.
- Promotes on-site engagement, teamwork, and employee morale.
- Conducts regular one-on-one meetings with staff to provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development support.
- Manages direct reports, including payroll coordination, PTO approvals, performance management, and participation in disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.
- Evaluates physician medication orders for appropriateness, including drug selection, dosage, potential interactions, and route of administration; provides recommendations for therapy modifications as appropriate.
- Maintains the patient database, ensuring accurate documentation of current and past medical history, clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medications (including over the counter and home remedies).
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to provide clinical support as needed.
- Documents all communications with physicians, nurses, other healthcare team members, patients/residents, and family members in the medical record.
- Supports the implementation and adherence to policies and procedures related to the safe procurement, storage, distribution, use, and disposal of drugs and biologicals.
- Assists in obtaining and maintaining required documentation in accordance with federal and state regulatory requirements.
- Reports medication-related errors to the Pharmacy Director in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensures appropriate documentation of adverse drug reactions (ADRs); ensures product complaints are properly documented and reported to pharmaceutical manufacturers as required.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy work environment in compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Conducts responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable policies and procedures, federal and state laws, and professional standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Pharmacist Supervisor Job Requirements:
Education/Learning Experience
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
- Desired: Pharm D preferred
- Required: 1+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
- Desired: 1 year experience in specialty pharmacy preferred
- Required: Knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal and state regulations. Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team. Extensive experience working in CPR+. Effective communication, problem-solving, and professional decision-making skills.
- Desired: Previous leadership experience, competency with various Microsoft platforms (Excel, Word, Outlook), Ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and implement improvements.
- Required: Current license in the state of practice
- Desired: Ideal candidates will have multi-state licenses
