Supervisor, Airfield Maintenance

The Columbus Regional Airport Authority manages and operates passenger-focused John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH), cargo-focused Rickenbacker International Airport (LCK), and general aviation airport Bolton Field (TZR).

Your "Take Off" will be successful by doing the following with excellence:

• Supervise work of assigned staff, including assigning and reviewing work, and providing feedback and coaching, and conducting annual performance evaluations.
• Prepare work orders, shift brief forms, weekly reports, update work plans and project tracker.
• Develop and coordinate annual maintenance and repairs for all airfield maintenance equipment.
• Provide direct supervision to various teams and lead the airfield maintenance snow removal operations.
• Assist in developing the annual department operating budget.
• Perform related work as required.

Your "Landing" will be smooth if you meet the following requirements:

• High School diploma and minimum three (3) years of experience in operating heavy equipment, or equivalent education and years of experience
• Possess a valid Ohio Driver's License and Commercial Driver's License (Class B with Airbrake Endorsement), in good standing
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Knowledge of general mechanics of vehicles and power tools
• Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks, projects, and competing priorities simultaneously
• Able to work rotating shifts, as needed
• Pay Rate: $37.00/hour plus shift differential
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test, which includes testing for marijuana (medical marijuana cards are not acceptable)
