Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Can not apply to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities if you have an active application to any of the Ohio State University facilities.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and provide appropriate interventions.
• Medications, Oncology, Plastics, Work Settings, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Respiratory, Tracheostomy care/management

Preferred Skills/Experience: PCA, Administration of chemotherapy, Monitoring Chemotherapy, Surgical drains

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: RTO required with submission, must be built into contract

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends are variable based on unit needs.

Floating Requirements: MedSurg Oncology units

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear Yes or No response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
