Mason/hardscape foreman (Columbus) Riepenhoff landscape image 1 of 1 compensation: $28-35 employment type: experience level: mid level job title: Mason/hardscape foreman Position Overview Riepenhoff Landscape is seeking a Hardscape Foreman to lead the installation of high-end residential outdoor living projects. This role is responsible for managing a crew, executing work at a high level of quality, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and professionally. We specialize in detailed, design-driven work including patios, walkways, retaining walls, outdoor living spaces, and custom features. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, leads by example, and can deliver a finished product that meets the expectations of high-end clientele. Responsibilities Lead and manage a hardscape crew on a daily basis Execute layout, base prep, installation, and finishing of hardscape projects Read and interpret plans, layouts, and elevations Ensure all work meets company quality standards and design intent Maintain jobsite organization, cleanliness, and professionalism Communicate daily with the Production Manager regarding progress, issues, and needs Track and report crew time accurately Identify and solve problems in the field as they arise Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are used efficiently and properly Deliver a high-end client experience on every project Qualifications Previous experience in hardscape or landscape construction required Ability to lead a crew and manage daily production Strong understanding of base preparation, grading, and installation practices Ability to read plans and follow design specifications Valid driver's license required Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Experience operating equipment (skid steer, mini excavator, etc.) Preferred (Not Required) Masonry experience including natural stone work, veneer, or custom stone installation Knowledge of masonry techniques materials and safety practices Experience with high-end residential or custom projects Work Location: In person Principals only.
