Your Role
The SFA supporting Payments, Taxes & Controls is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations, technology, controls and reporting for VS&Co. payments and related vendor 1099 and 1042 tax reporting. The incumbent will also have accountability, in partnership with the Manager, Accounts Payable, for the larger A/P team compliance to SOX, Anti-Corruption, Fraud and Operational Controls. Work is focused on supporting day-to-day operational and accounting activities as well as long-term strategic planning and execution related to people, process, and technology.
Your Impact
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead compliance and regulatory efforts (i.e., SOX, FCPA, etc.) on behalf of the broader A/P team.
Support enterprise payment and banking relationships as applicable to disbursement activities, including forecasting
Oversee the quarterly check escheatment process, aligning with internal partners and Tax
Ensure all electronic and check payments are processed accurately and on time according to internal standards
Ensure accurate preparation, reporting and filing of annual 1099s, 1042s and Canadian T4A-NR
Strategize, align, and produce key performance indicators
Maintain financial, accounting, and operational controls and procedures during monthly, quarterly, and annual close calendars
Manage complex and diverse customer, supplier, or operational issues where analysis of situation or data requires evaluations of identifiable factors
Partner closely with internal finance teams, including but not limited to: Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, and Internal Audit to ensure accurate execution of responsibilities in accordance with various controls
Develop and lead continuous improvement across individual work and the broader team
Seek opportunities for optimal efficiency in a controlled environment through the development, testing and implementation of technology
Create thoughtful information management workflows
Create compelling business cases for change
Exercise judgment within defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

Minimum Salary: $86,800.00
Maximum Salary: $117,600.00
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
Qualifications
Your Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business Accounting or Finance required
CPA preferred
3+ years of work experience in accounting, accounts payable, financial operations or other related experience
Knowledge of GAAP, supplier tax regulations, FCPA and SOX
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications and SAP
High diligence coupled with analytical, auditing and project management skills
Demonstrates deep subject matter expertise in financial and accounting principles and fundamentals including risk assessment and management
Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset with a focus and understanding to advances in technology
Initiative-taking and takes accountability, urgently moves to action, and possesses great follow-up
Cross-functional collaborator who engages early in the process
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with several cross-functional partners and external suppliers
Professional and strong presentation skills in both written and verbal platforms, including periodic engagement with executive enterprise leadership
Conducts all work in an ethical, legal, and confidential manner
Ability to execute tasks in an accurate and timely fashion while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
