About Your Role
The QA/QC Manager is responsible for leading quality assurance and quality control efforts across construction projects to ensure compliance with design documents, codes, and project requirements. This role oversees quality processes, conducts reviews and inspections, and ensures that all work meets established standards for performance and durability. The QA/QC Manager works closely with project teams, designers, and contractors to identify issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain the overall integrity of the project throughout all phases of delivery.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field required
What You'll Need to Get the Job Done
- 10 to 15 years of QA/QC experience on large-scale infrastructure or aviation projects
- Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, and testing procedures
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
What You'll Do
- Manage project-specific QA/QC programs
- Conduct constructability, maintainability, and code reviews
- Oversee third-party reviews of submittals and delegated designs
- Coordinate materials testing and inspections
- Track non-conformance issues and corrective actions
- Support change order reviews and claims avoidance
- Ensure project closeout documentation compliance
