Job Description
Salary: $2,625.01 - $2,825.01 /wk
Become a vital part of a Charlotte, NC hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. You will interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment while performing general radiography duties in an emergency department setting.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience.
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience performing both CT and general x-ray including portable radiographs.
- Experience working in an emergency department or acute care hospital environment preferred.
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, and Philips iSite PACS preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital (emergency department with 24/7 on-site CT, X-ray, and ultrasound services).
- Shift: Nights.
- Shift hours: 1900-0700.
- Shift pattern: 3x12.
- Standard hours per week: 36.
- Weekend rotation required; holiday coverage expected at approximately 75% of holidays.
- Orientation: administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review) - 1 day; departmental orientation 2 days to 1 week as needed.
- Department volume: approximately 87 ED visits per day and about 60 combined diagnostic and CT studies per day.
- Equipment: Siemens Edge CT scanner, Bayer/Medrad power injectors, Shimadzu RadSpeed x-ray systems and portable x-ray units.
- Floating: No.
