Computed Tomography Technologist Travel Job

Salary: $3,426.18 - $3,626.18 /wk

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Staten Island, NY as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment across inpatient, outpatient, mobile, and emergency settings.

Minimum Requirements:

• NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License R.T. (R) (CT) (ARRT).
• NYS Injection/IV Certification (BERT) required or candidate must complete IV certification course prior to start and apply for NYDOH BERT certification. Physician skills sign-off may be available for application.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year CT technologist experience; 2 years preferred.
• Experience performing head, pelvis, trauma, specialized cardiac CT, and CT angiograms.
• Experience with GE Revolution, GE Discovery, or Toshiba Aquilion CT scanners preferred.
• Ability to work in a Level 1 trauma center and teaching hospital environment preferred.
• Adherence to facility dress and appearance policy: scrub top and bottom matching (any color), no open-toed shoes, limited jewelry, hair tied back, trimmed facial hair for fit-testing, and nails without chipping polish.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift: Nights.
• Shift hours: 2300 - 0700.
• Schedule pattern: 5x8 nights.
• Every other weekend required.
• Perform CT exams across inpatient, outpatient, mobile, and emergency department settings.
