The hospital is actively seeking an interventional cardiologist to provide comprehensive cardiac care coverage. The facility maintains modern cardiac catheterization laboratory equipment and utilizes EPIC EMR for patient documentation and care coordination. The interventional cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiac care including both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities at this facility. Clinical duties encompass clinic coverage Monday through Thursday from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, managing 15-20 patients daily in the clinic setting. Hospital responsibilities include daily rounding and managing 2-3 consults per day. The position requires 24-hour emergency department call coverage for urgent cardiac interventions. Required procedures include left and right heart catheterizations, AICD and pacemaker insertions and generator changes, and transesophageal echocardiograms with documentation completed through EPIC EMR system.
