Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Diploma completion required

Requirements:

This role will require floating to multiple locations

Preferred Skills/Experience: Extubation, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oral/nasal suctioning, Pulmonary hygiene, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy care/management, Albuterol, Atrovent, Bicarbonate, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled Flolan, Inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Ketamine, Lidocaine, Mucomyst, Nitric oxide (INo), Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline sulfate, Theophylline, Tobramycin, Xopenex, Metered dose inhaler (MDI), High flow nasal cannula (HFNC), BiPAP, CPAP, Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)

Required Credentials: High School Diploma and College Diploma and or transcripts required. Drivers License/State ID

Special Requests:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Can not apply to any Ohio State University facilities, if you have an active application to any of the James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends required

Floating Requirements: Floating to the between campuses may be required. Travelers may be required to float to East Hospital at the facilitys discretion.

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear Yes or No response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
