Position Summary:
The Business Developer is responsible for generating new business opportunities for commercial landscape maintenance services. This role is focused on driving growth in an active and unsaturated territory, building long-term relationships with property managers and real estate decision-makers.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to close for commercial landscape maintenance contracts
- Prospect, qualify, and build strong relationships with property managers, facility directors, and real estate stakeholders
- Represent the brand with professionalism, urgency, and a solutions-oriented mindset
- Partner with branch operations teams to align expectations and deliver exceptional service
- Maintain consistent pipeline activity and sales reporting via CRM
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years in Landscape B2B sales.
- Proven closer with a track record of exceeding goals; hunter mindset
- Expert in lead generation, cold outreach, and market research
- Strong communicator who thrives in relationship-based selling
- Skilled at identifying client pain points and positioning value-based solutions
- Organized, persistent, and comfortable working independently
- Local market knowledge is highly desired
