TransForce is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver to support local operations based in Kansas City, MO . This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL A Truck Driver Details

• Schedule: Mon - Fri or Sun - Thur, 4am start time, home daily
• Pay: $29 hr with occasional overtime
• Route Type: Running KC stops and hauling trailer loads to local accounts
• Freight / Load Type: General freight
• Equipment: 53 Trailer or any trailer sizes
• Handling: Lite Touch-Driver will remove pallets from the truck using a pallet jack.

CDL A Truck Driver Minimum Requirements:

• License: CDL A
• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Truck Driver Responsibilities:

• Safely operate 53 trailer on local routes
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Perform required handling tasks including loading and unloading with hand cart and manual pallet jack
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role
