Are you passionate about pediatric eye care and making a positive impact on the lives of children? Wee Pediatric Eyecare is seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join our team in Chicago, IL. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, providing exceptional eye care services to children ages 17 and under. Join us in our mission to provide a comfortable and personalized experience for every young patient that walks through our doors.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams for pediatric patients
• Perform some pre-testing
• Provide contact lens fittings
• express a happy, welcoming demeanor to help aid our little patients comfort

Required Skills:

• Doctor of Optometry degree
• Proficiency in conducting eye exams and refractions
• Ability to provide exceptional pediatric patient care

Nice to Have Skills:

• experience in pediatric eyecare
• Familiarity with retinoscopy
• knowledge of basic binocular testing, we do not offer vision therapy but refer often when binocular evaluations show defeciency

hourly wages available initially

• Minimum- $80 an hour
• Maximum Salary:$100 or more offered for weekends
• Flexible schedules to accommodate work-life balance
