Project Manager - Water Resources (Hybrid)

Boomi is seeking a Project Manager (Water Resources) with 5 to 12 years of professional experience to join our dynamic and fun-loving team of professionals and contribute to projects in Water, Wastewater, Stormwater, Sustainability and Resiliency service areas. This role is open in our New York City Office. The Project Manager will collaborate with our team of civil/environmental engineers to drive projects and lead client interactions. Majority of the projects will be New York City based, with potential to lead projects in other geographical areas in the Northeast.

Job Responsibilities

The position requires professional consulting experience pertaining to water resources. Experience focused on developing client relationships and delivering detailed design solutions within established budgets and schedules is desired.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Strategic Project Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of technical projects, ensuring seamless collaboration between engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Market Growth & Innovation: Develop and refine value propositions for our water/wastewater services, identifying innovative ways to accelerate digital transformation for our clients.
• Operational Excellence: Own the project foundations—including scope definition, budgeting, resource delegation, and rigorous scheduling—to ensure profitable and timely delivery.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify process bottlenecks and enhance Boomi’s service offerings to meet the evolving regulatory and environmental challenges of the water industry.
• Mentorship & Communication: Serve as a technical mentor to junior staff while translating complex integration concepts into clear, actionable insights for executive-level clients.

Qualifications and Skills

Specific qualifications and skills desired include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, or environmental engineering
• Professional Engineering license in New York State, with ability to be licensed in other states
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting engineering/ detailed design project delivery pertaining to water resource projects
